Thursday Class: 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Old School Tango
Sequences & Technique of the tango masters from the years 50s, 60s & 70s who’s dancing often used quick change of dynamics and the precision of complex footwork.
Friday Class: 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm
New School Tango
Organic movements that were developed by tango masters in the 90s and beginning of the 21st century, with a technique using the change of axis and linear and circular sensations with influences and techniques from other dance styles.
Saturday Class: 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
The study of both schools that give us the liberty to express different music and have a well rounded and limitless tango.
It’s necessary to learn everything from the roots of tango taught by the old tango masters to the more evolved and developed tango of today. Only after learning all of the styles and the development of tango over the years, is one able to form his/her own personal style.
Sunday Class: 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
The musicality class is about anazyling one tango song and learning to hear each individual instrument. From there we work on the movements that match the quality of each sound and how apply this to one’s dancing.
